Everything Namaquasan does, in one place.
Services
Research a botanical, source a qualified supplier, close a compliance gap, or get your own product listed four services, one qualification framework behind all of them.
Botanical Intelligence
Botanical Intelligence
Whether your end use is food, beverage, or supplement, access botanical scorecards and downloadable intelligence reports that compare botanicals and end uses side by side: clinical evidence strength, regulatory status by country, active compound, and ingredient-level supply risk. This is botanical research - not supplier evaluation.

Qualification Advisory & Enablement
For Buyers
Decision-ready ingredient and supply intelligence for procurement, QA, regulatory, and innovation teams via Qualification Reports.
For Suppliers and buyers
Once a gap is identified — in a Qualification Report or a Botanical Scorecard finding Namaquasan guides the supplier through a structured, sprint-based program to close it. Either side can initiate and fund the engagement: a buyer who wants to keep a promising supplier in the running, or a supplier ready to strengthen their own score directly.
Gap Closure Roadmap (the Enablement engagement)
Four workstreams, matched directly to the Q×S×C model's three scoring dimensions so a buyer or supplier can see exactly which gap a given service addresses.
Part 1 — The Qualification Report
What a buyer actually receives when they request a report from a Database card or a Botanical Intelligence profile
A full market-landscape assessment for the chosen botanical - every mapped supply entity scored across Quality, Scale, and Compliance (Q×S×C), ranked against your specific buyer threshold, not a fixed pass/fail line.
Individual supplier decision cards for the best-fit - candidates score breakdown by sub-category, named top gaps, and what's already strong.
A comparative analysis of active compound chemistry and analytical data across every shortlisted supplier, benchmarked against category reference standards.
A clear verdict per candidate (e.g., Compliance Blocked, Upgrade Needed, Pilot Viable) with the specific binding constraint — named so it's clear which dimension is actually holding a supplier back.
Sprint 1 (0-30 days)
The Specification & Documentation
Define the finished-ingredient specification template (identity, full alkaloid profile, contaminants, microbiology, residual solvents); expand the COA panel to cover any missing analytical categories; build the audit-pack document index. Targets: Quality & Auditability sub-scores (Q).
Sprint 2 (30-90 days)
Traceability & Batch Consistency
Build the finished-batch-to-source traceability spine with standardised lot IDs; generate a multi-batch consistency report (three or more batches) against the finished specification; link ABS/permit documentation to individual lots. Targets: Traceability sub-score (Q), and starts moving ABS/Nagoya (C).
Sprint 3 (90-180 days)
ABS Compliance & Regulatory Structuring
Initiate the BABS bioprospecting permit application; engage the relevant traditional-knowledge-holder community for a Benefit-Sharing Agreement; prepare a GRAS/NDI (or equivalent market) regulatory dossier roadmap; assemble the audit-ready documentation bundle. Targets: ABS/BABS and Market Regulatory sub-scores (C) — typically the binding constraint most suppliers face.
Sprint 4 (180-365 days)
Enterprise Qualification Target
Permit issuance, executed Benefit-Sharing Agreement, published compliance registration, and a full multi-batch COA history. Target: moving a supplier from Compliance Blocked to Pilot Viable or better.

Part 2 — Gap Closure Roadmap (the Enablement engagement)
Namaquasan's role throughout is advisory: we guide, prepare documentation, and connect suppliers with the right specialists. Suppliers remain the legal party responsible for their own permits, agreements, and regulatory filings.
Once a report names specific gaps — for one target supplier or across a shortlist — Namaquasan guides the supplier through a structured, sprint-based program to close them. Each sprint targets specific parts of the Quality, Scale, or Compliance score, not just “improve things” generally:
Sprint 1 (0-30 days)
Specification & Documentation
Define the finished-ingredient specification template (identity, active compound profile, contaminants, microbiology, residual solvents); expand the Certificate of Analysis (COA) panel to cover any missing analytical categories; build the audit-pack document index. Strengthens the Quality and Auditability scores.
Sprint 2 (30-90 days)
Traceability & Batch Consistency
Build the finished-batch-to-source traceability spine with standardised lot IDs; generate a multi-batch consistency report (three or more batches) against the finished specification; link compliance documentation to individual lots. Strengthens the Traceability score, and starts moving the Compliance score.
Sprint 3 (90-180 days)
Provenance & Regulatory Structuring
Guide the supplier through the country's access and benefit-sharing (ABS) permit process and advise on structuring a benefit-sharing agreement with the relevant traditional-knowledge-holder community. Prepare a market-authorization roadmap (e.g., GRAS self-affirmation or New Dietary Ingredient notification in the US) and assemble the audit-ready documentation bundle. Strengthens the Compliance score — typically the binding constraint most suppliers face.
Sprint 4 (180-365 days)
Enterprise Qualification Target
With Namaquasan's guidance, the supplier works toward: permit issuance, an executed benefit-sharing agreement, published compliance registration, and a full multi-batch COA history. Target outcome: moving from Compliance Blocked to Pilot Viable or better — timing depends on the supplier's own regulatory process, not a fixed Namaquasan deliverable.
How it starts
Every Qualification Advisory engagement begins from a specific, already-identified gap — not a cold consultation:
Qualification Report
A buyer requests a Qualification Report on a botanical, and the resulting landscape assessment surfaces a gap on a shortlisted supplier worth closing before proceeding.
Botanical Scorecard
A supplier's own Botanical Scorecard or Database listing shows a binding constraint (e.g., Compliance Blocked due to missing ABS documentation) and they want a structured path to resolve it.
