For Suppliers
Get your botanical in front of qualified buyers.
Namaquasan evaluates your product on quality, sustainability, and compliance, then lists a scored profile in front of brands and formulators actively sourcing botanicals like yours, no cold outreach required.

Don't have every answer yet? No problem — every field accepts N/A or Unknown. We'd rather see your submission today than wait for a perfect one.
What to Expect
The wizard covers seven sections in real depth, but nothing here is a blocker to submitting. Every field accepts N/A or Unknown if you don't have an answer yet, so this list shows what strengthens your profile most, not what's required to start. Grouped below to match the wizard's own structure:
Don't have the info? No problem - select N/A or Unknown and move on. We've got you covered. Most suppliers complete the essentials in 15–20 minutes; the more you're able to fill in now, the stronger your initial Quality and Compliance score, but you can always come back and add more later as your documentation catches up.

Company & Product Basics
Legal company details, business type, and country/region of operation.
Source country and primary growing/sourcing region for your raw material.
Product identity per format you're submitting botanical (Latin name), plant part used, and up to three distinct product forms if you offer more than one (e.g., powder and liquid extract each get their own record).
Authenticity & Stability
Authenticity evidence, if available DNA barcoding, HPTLC fingerprinting, or adulterant screening results.
Stability data shelf-life claim and any accelerated stability testing. If your product targets beverage use, beverage-specific stability data (post-carbonation compatibility, post-pasteurization active compound retention) is required, not optional.
Physical & Chemical Specification
Physical parameters appearance, particle size, bulk density, moisture/loss on drying, water activity, pH, and solubility.
Individual active compound specification limits - not just total alkaloid %. Mesembrine and mesembrenone limits specifically are treated as critical; ‘batch specific’ is not accepted as an answer for either. Include your validated test method (e.g., HPLC, LC-MS) and reference standard used.
Chemotype classification, if known Chemotype classification, if known - target active compound dominance or mixed.
ABS Compliance & Regulatory Markets
Your ABS/BABS bioprospecting or biotrade permit status, and the status of any benefit-sharing agreement with traditional-knowledge-holder communities, if your raw material is sourced from South Africa.
Regulatory documentation whether you hold your own NDI filing or GRAS basis, or rely on a licensing relationship with another company.
Regulatory markets your documentation currently supports e.g., US (NDI/GRAS), Canada (NHP), EU (novel food filing), or others. This feeds the Database's ‘Regulatory Markets Cleared’ filter directly, so be specific rather than general.
Certifications & Audit History
Certifications on file GMP, ISO, Kosher, Halal, or equivalent, with certifying body and expiry dates.
Audit history date and outcome of your most recent third-party audit, and whether you'd be willing to allow a Namaquasan site audit.
Traceability & Batch Evidence
Microbiological limits (total aerobic count, yeast/mould, E. coli, Salmonella, and others), heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury), and mycotoxin testing, each with the method used and testing frequency.
Company & Product Basics
Legal company details, business type, and country/region of operation.
Source country and primary growing/sourcing region for your raw material.
Commercial & Supply Capacity
Audit history date and outcome of your most recent third-party audit, and whether you'd be willing to allow a Namaquasan site audit.
Safety & Purity Testing
Annual production volume range, typical lead time, and whether you have backup supply or source diversification in place this feeds your Scale score directly.
